01/10/10 - Bruce to compose score for "StaleMate"
Bruce has just been added to the post production team of the feature film "StaleMate" starring Josh Randall and Sheetal Sheth. The film is currently shooting and scoring should begin in February.
01/05/10 - "En Route" scroing begins
Bruce will provide music for the short film, "En Route" directed by Colin Levy. More soon on this very promising film.
12/10/09 - Music for "Car Wash" and "Reformation" completed
Bruce just completed the score for the short film "Car Wash" starring Edith Ivey ("Benjamin Button") and directed by James Kicklighter ("Di Passaggio"). Bruce also just finished the score for the period film "Reformation" produced in New York City.
09/05/09 - "Seven Days of Yellow" wins award
“Seven Days of Yellow" will receive a Golden Reel Award from the Nevada Film Festival.
9/09/09 - LA Phil/YOLA program
Bruce was named conductor of the Los Angeles Philharmonic's Youth Orchestra Los Angeles (YOLA) program at the EXPO Center. His first undertaking there was to prepare the orchestra for a debut appearance at the Hollywood Bowl where they appeared with the LA Phil's new Music Director Gustavo Dudamel.
09/01/09 - "Wesley" Completed
Composition and live recording of the orchestra for the period feature has been completed. The orchestra was outstanding in the series of seven days of recording sessions. Samples are avaiilable on the music player page.
05/08/09 - "1915" Finalist for Student Academy Award
"1915" is a Finalist for the 2009 Student Academy Awards,. The film was also the winner of the Director's Guild of America Award for Best Student Director, received a Gold Coast Award from the Hollywood East Film Festival, and will screen at the Tupelo Film Festival and Beaufort International Film Festival.

04/20/09 - "Cadence" Screens in Miami and Wilmington
“Cadence” was just screened as part of “Filmapalooza” at the Miami International Film Festival in March. It was also a finalist for Project Breakout: Master of the Macabre competition, and will screen in May at the Cape Fear Independent Film Festival in Wiilmginton, NC.

04/20/09 - "Stormy Weather" wins and "Folding Over Twice" screened
“Stormy Weather” just received the award for "Best Comedy Short" at the Hollywood East Film Festival this month and was recently screened at the Cucalorus Film Festival in Wilmington, NC. "Folding Over Twice" screens at the Indie Grits Film Festival and the MALI Women's Film and Performance Arts Festival.
